Driving License Verification

The following conditions and procedures are applicable to the verification of Pakistani driving licence:

1. The applicants of only the New South Wales (NSW) driving licence are eligible to apply for verification of their Pakistani driving licence at the Consulate General of Pakistan Sydney.
2. The documents required are:
   • Application Form for the Driving Licence Verification (DLV) must be duly filled in and signed including statutory declaration. Please fill out form in block or capital letters.
   • Applicant’s copy of Passport
   • Applicant’s copy of CNIC / NICOP
   • Applicant’s copy of the Pakistani driving licence (national licence only)
3. Documents may be submitted in person or through delivery mail/courier.
4. For delivery of DLV through post, please provide a pre-paid self-addressed registered / express post envelope.
5. Processing Time is approximately 2 weeks after completion of all the documents
6. Processing fee:
   • Processing fee is AUD 20.00.
   • Fee may be paid through Postal Money Order in favour of “Consulate General of Pakistan Sydney” or EftPOS (bank charges apply) – all credit / debit cards, except American Express, are accepted.
   • No cash payment is accepted, and all payments are non-refundable.
7. In case of misleading or false information, submission of false or forged documents will result in the applicant being reported to relevant authorities both in Pakistan and Australia.
